There are quite a few crosses made of iron in the cemetery in Triebswetter. It seems to me that they have been in fashion around the end of the 19th century.

After sunset, I was about to leave the cemetery, where I thought to be alone except for a strange dog that kept following me. Suddenly I saw and heard somebody moving in a bush. It was a DS man still living in the village, who thought, as he told me, that he should better hide this cross of one of his ancestors into a thick bush, before the thieves take it away.

So I understand now the benefits of these bushes which weren't there before.

I hope that the thieves do not read this.
