The first 200 houses. The church, the parish house, the school and the pub were placed around the central square. The cemetery was (and still is) at the western edge of the village.
There were nine water wells : three in the Hauptgasse (one in the central square and one at each junction of streets) as well as one in the central part of each street. Which shows those being allocated houses on the outskirts being, for a while, in a deprived situation.
