I see it:
The two paintings have been removed, |

empty spaces on the wall have been covered with two pieces of cloth, and
the statues have been placed in front of them,

while
the two fakes have been
placed at the entrance, in a darker place. |
| "They wouldn't
know the difference" is what they must have told themselves about
us. I say "they" because one person coudn't have moved those big statues alone. And what about the motive of all this moving around and placing fakes? Did the original paintings get sold? But they were still our property, which makes us speak of a theft. Whatever happened, the HOG Triebswetter has never been informed by the priest in charge of this chruch - who was probably thinking that we wouldn't know the difference. |
