"Hol
volt, hol nem volt, régi erdö...
boronaház, kék ég, patak... fenyöillat, napfény, virág s békés, mély csönd a fák alatt." |
"Àlmunkban
ma is visszajárunk,
nyugtalan, bús kisértetek. Holdtalan sötét éjszakákon bekószáljuk a hegyeket." |
| From Wass Albert's
poem "Hontalanság Elégiája", written in exile.
I do not know who has given this valley the name of "The House of Heaven"
but it must have been somebody who loved these mountains almost as much
as Count Wass Albert did. When reading his novels and poems, one feels that
it would be impossible for any human heart to love them more than he did.
This picture is my humble hommage to him. I think that he would be pleased to see it from there, where he now is - in Heaven. |
